The meniscofibular ligament attaches the back of the lateral meniscus to the fibular bone.
Anatomy of the meniscofibular ligament
The meniscofibular ligament is a short capsular ligament of the lateral meniscus reaching between the back of the lateral meniscus and the upper end of the fibula. It helps to stabilise the lateral meniscus.
