Hi all,

Is it possible that the lachman and drawer test do not show signs of an ACL tear but the MRI report shows a near full ACL tear?

This has just happened to me and I am in a fix.

One orthopedic surgeon just went with the MRI and suggested I get surgery done. I met another orthopedic surgeon who said it was slightly confusing as their was no clinical instability to be seen. He said it could be due to swelling and discomfort.

Thinking to get another MRI done.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
