Contributions

Progressing to two hands

In arthroscopic surgery two hands are needed to 'triangulate' the instruments within the field of view, so that the one hand can shine the camera light on the view while the other operate the instruments.

Arthroscopy - that critical first portal

The first portal into the knee joint must allow the surgeon to orientate and introduce the next instrument in a logical fashion.<

Arthroscopic Anatomy

Through the arthroscope, the anatomy has to be interpreted from the restricted circular front view one gains via the camera.<

Arthroscopy Instrumentation

The arthroscopic camera and instrumentation allow amazing views inside the knee but imposes their own restrictions.

Diagnostic Arthroscopy - The Importance of Method

Dr Angus Strover explains the steps a knee surgeon will take in performing an arthroscopy.
