A mini stork is a knee rehabilitation exercise to improve knee flexibility.

Photograph of a patient standing facing a support, and resting the bent knee on a chair.
Standing facing a support, resting the hands for balance, bend the knee to 90 degrees while supporting it on a chair behind you.
Photograph of patient dropping down into a supported squat.
Bend the good knee into a squat, so that the bad knee is gently but firmly bent also. Hold for a few seconds and stand up again.

Benefits of the mini stork

This exercise is a passive flexion exercise as well as a quads stretch.
