Hip external rotation is a hip exercise relevant to knee rehabilitation.

Lie on the side with the legs together.

Keeping the feet together, widen a gap between your knees. Hold the position and then slowly relax.

Hip strength and mobility

Hip strength and mobility is important in knee rehabilitation but also for preventing knee injury, especially during sporting activities.
