I'm a passionate athlete looking to improve my overall knee health and prevent potential injuries. While I incorporate regular exercise, I'm interested in learning more about specific training methods to strengthen my knees and enhance my athletic performance.

Could you recommend specific exercises or training programs that are most effective for strengthening the muscles and ligaments around the knee joint? And how can I strike a balance between building strength and maintaining flexibility to ensure optimal knee health and movement?
