PCL and MCL Tear

I tore my PCL (full tear) in 2014 and never had it repaired but after rehabilitation it honestly doesn't bother me too much. it's also worth mentioning that I had a slight MCL sprain along with this injury. A month ago, I tore my MCL, grade 2-3. I've been on crutches and wearing a brace for 3 weeks, zero progress says my doctor. He said continue the same thing and come back in two weeks. I'm wondering if my PCL tear is having an impact on the healing of the MCL. I just feel like I'm wasting time. Don't know if I should see a knee specialist to see if I need surgery. Anyone out there have a torn PCL and MCL?
