Re: MPFL Reconstruction and screw removed from TT surgery

So I have had my MPFL and screw removal on Monday and came home on Tuesday. The operation took 4 hours in the end, not really sure why as was still pretty much out of it when I saw the surgeon after the operation. I'm in a brace for at least 6 weeks, currently locked straight but in two weeks they w...

Re: Fulkersons TTT 19th June 18

Well I've made it to day 11. It seems to be getting better every, the swelling is going down and today I was able to take off the dressings. The two arthroscopy incisions are pretty much healed and the main incision looks pretty neat. There is also minimal bruising. Pain - 2-3, doesn't hurt as such ...

I tried to go out in the car a couple of days ago to visit my grandparents, I managed to eventually get in the car but then I couldn't get comfy and i...

Re: Advise Please - Patellar Maltracking and chondromalacia Surgery

Hi lilone, yes I think I will do a diary. Hoping it will keep me sane and also there aren't many up to date ones at the moment so hopefully it will help someone!
It's horrible having to wait for OS, really hope you get to see one soon and get your knee sorted.

Advise Please - Patellar Maltracking and chondromalacia Surgery

Hi there, So a little about my knee - I injured it about 15 years ago by hitting it with a bowling ball, after numerous GP appointments I was referred for physio which did not help and then finally to see a consultant. During this time xrays and MRIs where done and the consultant said that whilst he...
