Re: Unsure whether to go ahead with a Trochleoplasty, TTT & MPFL

Hi Nic, Sorry to hear about your knee problems. I understand your concerns. My best advice in your case would be to get a second opinion from Dr. Lars Blond in Denmark. He's an expert in these injuries and surgeries, and could give you some guidance whether to go for the surgeries or not. https://ww...

+1

A bag of frozen peas wrapped in a thin towel, 20 min in the morning and 20 min in the evening, helps me control the pain and inflammation :)

Re: Patella Tendon scarred from Meniscal Allograft Transplant

Hi Patrik, Thanks for sharing your story. I personally don't know much about your particular type of injuries/surgery (I'm more of a broken cartilage guy :)). But I'm in a similar age and can relate to having debilitating knee problems for over 10 years. I think the first thing here is that you shou...

Re: Dr. Stone's cartilage graft paste

Maybe you already mentioned it somewhere above, but are there any other doctors also using Dr. Stone's cartilage graft technique? Looks quite good when reading about it, but if Dr. Stone's teachnique really works well, why hasn't it gone mainstream?

Nice overview, thanks! From a consumer/patient perspective, the "cartilage repair/regrowth" industry is certainly messy.

Hi Puffy!

I guess you used to hang out here before my days, but still nice to have you back :)

You have had some tough years indeed!

Hopefully the physio can help you get back into decent shape.
