lump on knee
« on: August 19, 2004, 03:55:19 AM »
Hi, I have developed a lump on top of my left knee just off to the left. I did have some tenderness before it developed for about 2 days. There is no bruising or wound. It does not appear to be  a bug bite because the is no redness or itching. It is below the skin and about the size of a large grape. Ther is tendernesss when I touch or bump it but not pain in movement. Do you know what this may be. I have searched many medical sights and could not find anything on lumps except on the back of the knee. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey there-

I would definitely go have the lump checked out to rule out anything bad.  It could be just some inflammation, but it is much better to have it checked out now just in case.
