does lidocaine reduce symptoms of fibrotic fat pad pain?

I've seen it mentioned its a good way to test if the patient has Hoffa's syndrome, but how about fibortic fat pad tissue specifically - would it work for that?

I mean symptoms like pain on extending the knee

I think there's some positive studies about using lidocaine patches on generalized knee arthritis, but I'd imagine the effect is relatively short lasting - maybe a couple hours?

Maybe talk to your GP about trying it out. I doubt this would be any kind of magic bullet treatment, but probably no downsides to testing it.
