Constrained vs. Hinged Replacements
« on: January 11, 2022, 10:06:58 PM »
Greetings!  It has been a very long road and a while since Iíve updated in here. Iím hoping to get some specific insight. I know this isnít going to pertain to many, but Iím hoping some have knowledge/experience with this. Iím going be having my 20th knee surgery on March 2nd- a right revision. My 21st knee surgery will be shortly after. That is a revision on my left knee, which is much more complicated. Iíve already had multiple revisions for instability. The next revision is probably going to be a constrained knee replacement, but a hinged knee isnít out of the question.  Iím looking for others who have experience with one or the other- or even better both lol.  Iím only 44 so getting the most out of the next knee is definitely important.
