Does fixing a knee that has a Q Angle with a tibial tubercle surgery prevent dislocation?

I had ttt surgery for knee that is arthritic , has the Q angle and subluxated a lot.  It worked, cut the subluxations down a LOT for maybe 4/5 years. Unfortunately knee arthritis has continued to develop and I am now having mild subluxations but they aren't as painful as before- other elements of knee are worse now but thats not down to the TTT - its down to fact I have badly arthritic knee with torn meniscus.
It was the right surgery at the time for me.

So I had an MPFL surgery after my knee started subluxating 10 years ago and it was doing fine(felt stable), then it started subluxating again and kept wanting to pop out.  I had an MRI, it confirmed that it was slightly out of the trochlea groove.  My doctor told me the MPFL surgery didn't work because my knee has a Q angle so he recommended a ttt surgery.  I got the surgery but my knee still feels subluxated?!?!?  Right now, it hasn't given me the feeling its going to pop out but I assumed the subluxation would be gone.
