Hippocrates was the founder of Western Medicine and everyone knows that.  A lesser known fact is that he was also the father of Prolotherapy (big pharma has conspired to keep this hidden to harm the Prolotherapist).  It is a common misconception that the Hippocratic oath states "first, do no harm".  The original Hippocratic oath said...

First...Do Harm.

As in... prolotherapy!  You see now, when you do harm, as in stabbing someone with a needle, the person gets inflammation, and with inflammation, you get healing.  Prolotherapy has been around since 1350 BC, as any Prolotherapist will be sure to tell you.  In ancient times, natural homeopathic medicines were much popular than pharmaceuticals.  Due to the evil empire of USA Big Pharma, more effective homeopathic treatments have been shunned and replaced by harmful drugs.  With homeopathy, you must treat the symptoms of the disease, by causing symptoms of the disease.  Hair of the dog is a homeopathic cure for hangovers- drink more alcohol when you wake up!  And with inflammation, just pay a doctor to repeatedly stab you (peppering technique), or stab yourself repeatedly and save money! Better yet...rub the needle in feces before self-stabbing, the bacterial infection will maximize inflammation which maximizes healing!

Back to the history though... Hippocrates was a doctor for the gladiators.  With his knowledge of homeopathy (like cures like), he decided to stab gladiators who had already been stabbed many times.  Most gladiators died as a result of the extra stab wounds, but who cares- they were slaves anyways, said Hippocrates.  But the ones who survived went on to dominate the arena.  Legendary gladiator Spartacus was one of his earliest patients and was stabbed many times by Hippocrates- to increase healing (swords cause more inflammation than needles, so stabbing with sword is best but most people can't tolerate, that's why prolotherapists/prp use needles nowadays- they also get more money using less inflammation (needles cause less inflammation than swords)- and greed is what drives these people).  Hippocrates was eventually put to death on a guillotine by emperor Marcus Auerlius in 1320 BC- as punishment for making Spartacus so healthy.

Back in Hippocrates day, everyone knew prolotherapy/prp worked, and there was no contesting from Big Pharma-as they are the only group that suffers when prolotherapy is used.  When people got stabbed, they were simply sent to the prolotherapist for cure.  And that's why we have prolotherapy today.

Anyhow, inbreeding is common among prolotherapists.  It is more likely than not, that two prolotherapists got together, and discussed how they could make more money when their customers realized that sugar injections were a scam.  The majority of Prolotherapists would likely recommend switching to something stronger after sugar-water failure.  The obvious solution....Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP).  And now they have potential to keep the scam going- and double their profits!

The End
