plica and lateral release surgery recovery
« on: April 15, 2021, 11:23:07 PM »
I had plica and lateral release surgery 2 months ago and still having some problems.

Good things that happened after surgery: No more aching on the inner side of the knee and less pain when I'm laying on side of the leg (this seems to get better nowadays). And kneecap seems to be in place when I check it with my hand.

Problems: Still swollen even though I got it drained 2 times. I still can't fully bend my knee after a point (it hurts if I try), inner part feels like its giving off and gonna crack after standing on the leg for a while and there is hard lumps under the arthroscopy holes (the most visible one is under the inner hole).

Give me advice please.

Physio is the best bet (think quad strengthening) for maximizing recovery.  Unfortunately- IMHO- the two operations performed should never almost never be performed
