Tearing sensation at 120 flexion post MPFL reconstruction
« on: April 28, 2021, 02:19:40 AM »
I am 14 weeks post-op from a left MPFL reconstruction and once I hit 120 degrees of flexion, it feels as if something is going to tear if I try to bend it any farther.  I can only achieve the 120 degrees by using a sheet and it's still very painful, even with pain medicine.  Many times, my kneecap feels like it's going to pop while bending it too.  Is that normal or what could be causing it?  Any advice would really help!
