loud pop in the knee while straigtening- graft tear?
« on: October 19, 2020, 05:24:46 PM »
I have small cyclop lesion in my ACL graft 12 weeks post reconstruction. Few days ago i was doing EMS on my quads flexing them and straightening the knee and heard loud 2 pops when i returned to light bend, during one of them I felt something on the back of my patella ( sort of hit on the back of it ) No pain, no discomfort, no noticeable increased instability. Very strange though cause this pop was so loud it freaked me out. Is it possible that graft got torn? perhaps by being trapped in intercondylar notch when i straightened it? No idea, but its few days and this does not allow me to sleep causing mental discomfort. Would appreciate any opinions. Thanks

If there is no associated instability, it could be an adhesion that snapped. https://www.kneeguru.co.uk/KNEEnotes/knee-dictionary/adhesions
