Time has helped
« on: March 25, 2020, 06:58:53 PM »
Following a discoid meniscus trim and a subsequent twisting on the stairs which seemed to have torn the repair or tore more of my lateral meniscus I was beside myself. This was two months ago. I debated and debated another surgery? PRP? Anyways I swore if I had a positive story I would post this since I donít think there are enough of them. Flash forward to today which is a little over two months since I twisted it and had so much increased pain etc. It is feeling so much better, not where I want it to be but markedly better. I can walk for 90 minutes without pain with the lateral unloading brace and Iím starting to do combo jog and walk. It does not hurt anymore going up the stairs mostly itís just a lot of tightness in my hamstring and probably IT band. Anyways I would not of predicted that just time and of course some PT would help this much. Hope this is helpful to someone. Thanks
