Knee burning pain without an injury. Overuse or overstrain.
« on: February 25, 2020, 02:47:14 PM »
Hi all,
I am dealing with knee burning pain for past 6 months. I didn't injure anywhere. I started off a new walking routine on the hilly roads. I had some uncomfortable and unfitted shoes. That causes the issue in my knees. It started off like burning pain on top and right side of the knee. Went to an orthopedic and had an MRI. The MRI says mild lateral Patella subluxation and mild chrondomalacia Patella. Congentinal or developmental lateral trochlear ridge and Patella alta.
Going to PT for past 4 months. I still have the same burning pain. Pt doesn't help much. I do foam rolling, stretching and strengthening exercises as part of PT. Along with dry needling in the clinic.
Do anyone had this type of overuse strain issue before? How did you recover and how long does it take to recover.
