Revision Total Knee Replacement for Arthrofibrosis.

I had total knee replacement 3 years ago and I developed arthrofibrosis. I have tried physical therapy, manipulation under anesthesia (MUA) and arthroscopic lysis of adhesions but all failed. Now my surgeon is recommending revision total knee replacement. Is there any source of information (literature) available on revision total knee replacement for arthrofibrosis?

I heard that arthrofibrosis following knee replacement is more "diffuse" than arthrofibrosis following knee injuries or knee arthroscopy which is more often "localized".

I agree. I too did read somewhere that arthrofibrosis can either be localized or diffuse.
