Anakinra
« on: October 31, 2019, 11:20:30 PM »
I am reading on here about some of you having the Anakinra injection.  Can you please tell how it is done?  Is it injected right into the Knee?  Is it similar to having a steroid injection?  I am very interested because my pain management Dr. would like for me to have Genicular Radiation Ablation and this could even be a better choice for me.  What Dr. did the procedure for you? I just need some good info on this.

A poster here says Mr Evans does the injections, I think that must be Glyn Evans in London who's an arthrofibrosus specialist

Anyone know of any doctors in the US that would administer anakinra? My original OS wouldn't do it because he wasnt sure how it would interact with the ACL recon. He also had never seen scar tissue formation like mine.  Anyone know?

Thanks

Sam
