Help please anyone

Hi guys, Iím desperate at this point and can use any help possible two months ago  while walking I felt a tear in my knee but no pain or swelling but it felt as if something wanted to pop inside my knee ..  thinking it was no biggie i went to sleep.

The next day on my way to workI felt a pop inside my knee (like something went over my kneecap) and then my knee felt like it did previous  to the tearing  sound the night prior .  Again no pain but I had a very hard time Walking around the office.

For a month I RICEíD hoping things would get better and it didnít so I went to the Ortho ... it was literally one of the most demoralizing experiences Ive ever had  the doctor did a 2 second exam didnít ask me any questions and rush out it was obvious he was overbooked. He ran X-ray and mri supposedly they are normal but honestly I donít believe they checked well. He said I should be normal in a couple weeks .. 2 months later and Iím in the exact same condition Iím walking with a limp and most recently I am having a burning sensation in my hips now only while sitting I think this is because Iím sitting so much now to avoid being on my feet.

Iím just really praying  anyone on here can possibly let me know what they think this injury can be it is effecting my life really badly I use to visit my mom every week and now i just run home so I can get off my feet.  I donít know what to do

Symptoms -

No pain in knee

Hard time walking ďI noticed mainly when I have to pull up and bring my injured foot forward itís very slow and stiffĒ

Hard time standing for more then 10 minutes ďmy legs get very FatiguedĒ and it makes me jut want to sit down

Trouble extending injured knee out while sitting itís almost like my kneecap muscle is too weak or my kneecap is damaged

Trouble doing heel slides exercise bringing my leg back is a breeze but bringing my leg forward is very hard after 2 it feels like i May break something

Please any guesses would be helpful or a specific type of dr recommendation I only kno of orthopedics surgeons. itís such a strange injury

Can a major ligament be damaged with no Pain ? Thank you for listening guys

Also Iím 27

Sorry about your knee problems. In short, you need to get a second opinion from another doc you trust and feel comfortable with. You should bring your x ray and the MRI. Do you have any other orthopedic in you area you can consult?
RK sharp pain while running, diagnosis chondromalacia patellae 6/09
RK arthroscopic chondroplasty 9/09
RK rehab, recovery, 90% normal, started running again -> back to square one 5/15
RK diagnosis patellofemoral arthritis + LK diagnosis chondromalacia patellae 8/15 -> conservative treatment

Iíd see a knee specialist physio therapist for a thorough examination and assessment. Sounds like a mechanical issue, get the kneecap tracking checked.

No pain is good as is full range, even if straightening feels odd. I think fatigue suggests it's more strength or muscle imbalance, possibly because your gait is out. A physio is far more expert at assessing everything in the chain that affects the knee and formulating a plan (involving land and potentially water based exercise) than a surgeon whose focus is fixing with surgery. If nothing is actually damaged in the joint, then there's nothing for a surgeon to fix.  They'll just send you to a PT

A sports physician might be another option, for a more holistic review than a knee surgeon will offer (assume the OS you saw is a knee specialist and not a general ortho?)

Came off bike onto concrete 9/9/09
LK arthroscopy 8/2/10
2nd scope on 16/12/10
RK arthroscopy on 5/2/15
Lateral meniscus trim, excision of hoffa's fat pad, chondral stabilisation
LK scope 10.1.19 medial menisectomy, trochlea microfracture, general tidy up

Thanks so much guys, I'm going to set up a PT appointment at a good center. They have diagnostic machines and do a through evaluation for the knee. Vickster you make a lot of good points i think this is a tracking issue. ill keep everyone posted and be sure to let you know in case anyone else is having this problem. thanks guys

honestly i was losing hope but believe the personal exam will be much more effective.
