Scar tissue??
« on: October 23, 2002, 02:40:40 AM »
Hi everyone,
I'm really struggling to get my ROM back after my TTT in July. I wasn't really able to push the ROM until about 3 weeks ago because I was still stuck in a brace. In PT my therapist can get it to somewhere between 90 and 100 degrees really pushing it but if I don't move it for awhile, like when I'm sleeping, it just goes back to 50-60 degrees and I can't push it any further. It kind of feels like there's something in my knee keeping it from going any further that's right under my scar. Could this be a scar tissue problem? I've never had problems with scar tissue before with my other surgeries so I don't really know what it feels like. I have an appt to see my OS in about 2 weeks so I plan to ask him about this. If anyone could give me any advice or info I'd really appreciate it! Thanks :)

Sharon
