14 year old with Femoral Anteversion advice please
« on: May 13, 2019, 10:24:42 AM »
My daughter, just turned 14 has recently been diagnosed with femoral anteversion, she is in a great deal of knee pain, in tears on a daily basis. She is very sporty and we have convinced her to rest for 4 weeks, but just walking and stairs cause her considerable pain.  We have been told there is no operation for this as it is not deemed severe enough, any advice on controlling the pain please? she is seeing a physio but the exercises hurt her too. Plus being 14 and argumentative!!! She is tall (5ft 7") and still growing.
