RE:what have I done to my poor knees
« on: October 22, 2002, 02:04:18 PM »
Im Susie the girl that posted the original problem.Ive had problems logging back in under my own name, so just re-registered under 'claire'.
Since posting the problem I have been reading up to find out what was wrong. I have since discovered I probably have runners knee, caused by over-pronation. I just thought Id let you know of a good website called 'flatfoot.com' run by a OS called Dr Pryce (who has flat feet himself). Although they are flogging orthotics, these orthotics are an innovative design. Even if you dont want the insoles theres a heap of useful info on overpronation, and what it leads to and how to help youself . Very very enlightening. Check it out!!! :) Susie

Thanks, I've been on the site a few times as I am a flat footer and I have found it useful if not a bit commercial but yes loads of great stuff within.
