Patella Bone Loss from Chondromalacia????
« on: December 08, 2018, 03:08:25 PM »
So I've recently read that if you have Chondromalacia and mild to severe pain at rest, your Patella Bone Mineral Density is low. This creates problems later in down the line when it comes time for a knee replacement because the Patella is hollow and it's hard for them to implant anything to it. It won't stick. Basically not enough surface area. I got diagnosed with Chondromalacia back in October, and my pain level is 6-8 everyday. IDK how it could come on so rapidly. I'm miserable I want to cut of my kneecap.
