I had an ACL recon on my left leg last year.

This year I am having some pain in my right leg. Pain is present outside just next to the knee cap. No swelling or click sounds. No incidents or trauma on my right leg. Pain observed more only when I sit not while walking.

Is this a meniscus tear. Iím able to rotate without any pain or clicks. Can walk without pain and knee is stable.. extension normal.

Though I feel my leg needs a PoP every now and then. I can feel a burning sensation in front of the knee next to the knee cap.

Is it any signs of meniscus tear?

It could be a number of things -
- excessive lateral pressure syndrome (kneecap pressing more on that side)
- tender fat pad
- anterior horn meniscal tear (but other symptoms do not corroborate)
