I fell whilst running 10 days ago. Mildly displaced transverse fracture. No surgery. I’ve Been searching for more information on recovery and paths people follow so am glad that I’ve found this site. Appears that there are many different opinions.
It’s still early days in my recovery and was given permission to bear weight on day 7, just when I was getting the hang of the crutches

and now I have to slow down again! I’m managing to ‘walk’ without the crutches.
My leg is in a splint and although I get the odd twinge of pain when walking it’s bearable. My concern is when I sit and have to lift my leg up it hurts a lot. Would this be causing any damage? I’ve been told no PT until it’s healed.
