Plica syndrome symptoms
« on: June 07, 2018, 12:29:05 PM »
Hi all,

I know there's a few posts on here about plica syndrome but I'm just trying to get a good idea about what they symptoms and visible signs are of this condition. If anyone has had it, what type of pain do you have? Do you get catching with it? Can you feel the plica with your hands and does it come up on MRI?

I'm currently having issues which I think might be related this this but not getting far with diagnosis. There is also a mention of neuropathic pain, as I get burning, but this burning really only comes on when I do things which are more repetitive with bent knee and my physio quad building squats. I'm not sure neuropathic pain would be so specific? Originally fell damaging the patella cartilage and partial tear of quads tendon. Op was 18 months ago now and still having issues.

Thanks all. M.
