Can anyone tell me of the donjoy fourcepoint hinge resistance can be switched off or set to zero?

I have a full PCL tear and have ordered a donjoy armour with the forcepoint hinge, Now I have just read the details and it says it is not recommended for PCL injuries as the fourcepoint mechanism puts more stress on the PCL on extension. instead of sending it back iv read it can just be set to zero/switched off. The same brace, Donjoy armour without the fourcepoint hinge is avvailable says it is suitable for PCL injuries. Im hoping the fourcepoint set to zero will be the same thing.

This is the one Iv ordered: fourcepoint pcl

This is the other available without the fourcepoint hinge, says its suitable for PCL:

Hoping someone might be able to shed some light on this for me, dont particularly want to have to send this one back when it arrives and then wait for a new one again.
