New knee pain
« on: April 10, 2018, 03:39:43 AM »
I have had mild tendonitis in my patella tendon for a few years but today I'm having a new set of pain symptoms. A sharp pain on the front outside part of my knee that radiates to the back of my knee. My knee also feels like it can and will hhp backwards. It feels like its giving out constantly. Didn't hear a pop ... just suddenly started hurting and has been aching for the last 4 hours.

If it continues after a period of RICE (especially rest), see a medic. Personally, I'd see a physio with knee expertise

Good luck :)
Came off bike onto concrete 9/9/09
LK arthroscopy 8/2/10
2nd scope on 16/12/10
RK arthroscopy on 5/2/15
Lateral meniscus trim, excision of hoffa's fat pad, chondral stabilisation
More tears and wear, scope planned in Jan 2019 to tidy up
