Knee pops and snaps when standing
« on: April 08, 2018, 06:48:40 PM »
So I am 2 weeks post op from arthroscopy for a torn meniscus and chrondoplasty. I have followed the Dr's orders exactly. Yesterday as I was getting up off the couch my knee popped as I stood up. It was very painful and it was not a pop I heard it but I felt it. It was like something snapping back. Since then most every time I stand up it does the same thing.
My surgery was on my right knee and the popping occurs on the upper left part of my knee cap. It's right beside where the stitches are.
I am not sure if this is normal or maybe something I should see the Dr about. Could anyone please give me some suggestions on what it could be and if I should be worried about it or not? Thank you

I don't know anything beside my own injury, but you should call your doctor.
