Torn or sprained??
« on: January 22, 2018, 01:13:00 AM »
New to this so not sure if a similar question has been asked. If so sorry in advance.

About 8/9 years ago I hurt my knee. Was told it was a sprain but ever since my knee has gone out about 15-20 times, including today. Bottom part of my leg under the knee went one way and top half the other way.  If it was a sprain would it still be going out on me?

It sounds like you need to see a knee specialist for examination and potentially an MRI. Is there pain or swelling with the instability? Do you do any sort of exercises to strengthen and stretch the muscles in your leg? It may be you need physiotherapy for example to address a weakness
