I recently sprained my MCL 3 weeks ago and went to the doctor. They told me I had a grade 1 mcl sprain, they said I was able to play on the knee as long as there is no pain so i played with a brace provided by them. I felt pain in my game then sat out for 2 weeks no activity. I went back to practice last week and twisted my knee again and felt more pain. I sat out for another week doing a lot of rehab (squats ..ect). I am now about a week from the second time I sat out and I still feel a little pain but my knee seems more stable. Should I sit out for longer or is pain natural in the healing process? I play soccer btw.
