I had the pleasure of experiencing bilateral quad tendon ruptures back in December, surgical reattachement 2 days later with casts for two months, then rom braces for another two. I finished 12 weeks of PT in august and have been doing the exercises at home.
My question for those who've been thru something similar is what does my future look like? I have problems with strength, agility, near buckling, lots of aches and pains etc. My work can be physical in nature sometimes and I have to pick and choose what I can take on. I'm getting the impression that PT will be a lifelong part of life going forward which I'm okay with but the limitations are something I need to quantify. Any practical (not sympathetic) thoughts ?
