Knee Pain from driving

A bizarre injury if anyone can help? Was driving to France on Saturday, haven't run or cycled since last Wednesday and after that drive my left knee is very sore, just above the kneecap. Anyone experienced this before? Have stopped driving as it hurts. It definitely isn't from excercise as it was fine before Saturday.
