Post-op -swelling/lamps on the sides of my quad
« on: April 13, 2017, 07:33:52 PM »
Hi there, so I had my patella fracture operated 8 days ago but the sides of my quad feels really lampy and brused.
I keep my leg raised with few pillows and it feels like the knee is not as swallen as it used to be but what shall I do to help the swelling from my quads?
Many thanks

Hi ,
You should use ice packs atleast 4-5 times a day for around 15-20 mins at a stretch..It should reduce the swelling.

Best Wishes.
