Weak Quad 7 months after patella fracture
« on: April 05, 2017, 12:17:50 PM »
Hello all

I sustained a longitudinal fracture of my right patella 7 months ago. It didn't require surgery, but healing was slow. The doctor has given me the okay to do any activities I'm comfortable doing including crossfit.

The problem is the right leg is much weaker and I can't seem to build it up. I've done isometric leg raises, stationary bike riding, and elliptical machine for three months already, but the right leg is still much weaker. As a result I still can't do squats or jogging without knee pain so, I'm still limited to doing the bike and elliptical machine.

Does anyone have any suggestions how I can build up my quad aside from what I've been doing (bicycle and isometric exercises)?

Thanks
