Squash injury
« on: February 25, 2004, 09:42:58 PM »
Hi, After a hectic weekend playing squash some 9 months ago both knees were painful around the side of each knee on the inside of each leg. After some physio work and being told it was a tear of the medial ligaments, I did swimming and bike work. One knee is now fine but the other is still painful and I have not been able to run since although I do play squash and suffer the pain afterwards. My doctor said it was arthritis and gave me some pain killers. I have now seen a specialist and am in for an MRI scan in a few weeks. The pain is in a very specific spot on the inner side of the left knee. If I sit or stand in one spot for any length of time it is very painful to move it. It gets better with movement although walking is the worst. Any ideas?
I'll let you know what is found on the scan.
Cheers
