Brace useful for arthritis?
« on: March 28, 2016, 02:31:49 PM »
Anyone has had any luck? I have Grade 4 arthritis on my right knee. Constant pain but like to keep active.

Would a brace help? If so, what kind?

Thank you!
M

Look into Unloader braces.

I've got pretty severe OA in the medial area of my right knee, and the unloader was a real lifesaver before i got a Meniscus Transplant and OATs and has been a MAJOR lifesaver in my recovery from the surgery. I still wear it.

Ossur is the brand that I have. I also got a custom made CTI-Unloader, but i find the regular unloader does a better job.

Hope that helps :)
