Hi guys. I got acl reconstruction, meniscus repair 5 weeks ago.now I'm in6th week..I can fully straighten my knee. But unable to bend leg beyond 90 degrees while standing, feels like tightness around the quads.
However I can bend till 110 degrees while sitting on a chair. I do leg press and leg raise exercise and bending leg exercise. pls suggest me
1. How to increase flexion beyond this, it's being very difficult and tight.
2. Why is that I can't bend my leg beyond 90 degrees while standing. What is that tightness about?
Thank you

Helo, i hope you are doing better by now. What I can tell you I had the same problem..then I changed fysios and at about 7 weeks she pushed on it through the pain while I was lying no on my back and it worked! So by forcing a bit you should be able to get the here even though it's not something nice. Then it could also be your hamstring overload if you had hamstring graft. In any case I wouldn't worry, it will come back.
