Slow recovery or cause for concern....
« on: July 18, 2016, 03:32:42 PM »
I was diagnosed with Medial Plica Syndrome and had surgery for this on May 19, 2015.  Symptoms were a lack of ROM when doing deep squats and sharp pain on the medial side of knee that accompanied the deep squat.  Went to see the OS 1 month post surgery and he says my knee is good internally and he shaved a bit of my plica down.  Here I am 2 months now and very frustrated with recovery.  I still have the same symtoms as before and at this point I feel like the surgery did no good and I should of just left well enough alone.  In addition I cant kneel on my knee anymore, I have pain on the front side of knee under knee cap and just general achiness in the knee itself.  I went through PT for six weeks and currently still do same excercises at home relegiously.  Somebody give me some hope that in a year from now ill be back to "normal".
