I wonder if I've been wrong...

Can anyone tell me what is the ligament that runs along the outside of the knee?  If you're looking down at your own left knee, for example, this would be the ligament that runs over the left outside of the knee, connecting the femur to the lower leg.

For a while I've been thinking this is the LCL, but now I wonder.  Isnt' the LCL the one that runs on the outside of the knee and the MCL the one that runs along the inside?  I can't recall now.
