How long to wear TED stockings after arthroscopy?
« on: April 22, 2016, 09:06:07 AM »
I had arthroscopy three days ago and was given TED stockings - but only one pair and not told how long to wear them.  Anyone know?

I've always been told to wear for two weeks. But hospitals vary so call the ward you were on. They are easy to wash by hand and dry quickly - squeeze out well by hand, roll in a towel to remove most water and put on radiator, they should be dry in an hour. Just keep your legs moving in that time, do your Physio, take shower etc

Unless you have really pongy feet, you'll only need to wash every few days :)

Or you could ask the hospital for another pair

When is your follow up with the surgeon?
