I currently have a torn ACL, question on stabability.
« on: March 25, 2016, 06:36:35 PM »
I have a surgery date scheduled, but I am continuing to work at the moment. the brace I am using is an everyday brace from DonJoy  here is the link http://www.betterbraces.com/donjoy-acl-everyday?bacode=FS14p&gclid=CjwKEAjww9O3BRDp1tq0jIP023YSJAB0-j1SIz40EbQPluOZFMbG-5F-a4qiYiFrkGzRV40fIzYovxoCPb_w_wcB, question is what are some ways I can stop my knee from shifting so much, it makes it really hard to work.

You should talk to your physiotherapist about whether you have the optimal brace (your link didn't work for me). You may need something different or better fitting?
Also what prehab exercises you could be doing in preparation for the surgery. It's good to have the muscles as strong and balances as you can as you will inevitably suffer some degree of muscle atrophy as a result of the surgery

Good luck :)
