  • Time heals all things.... except cartilage.
I am just about 7 weeks post op from denovo knee cartilage repair on the bottom of my femur, medial condyle. I'm about a week and a half from being weight bearing and have full ROM, my VMO contracts but is obviously fairly weak but from having previous knee surgeries I fortunately knew ROM and quad strength were important to get back asap.
Does anyone know when I should start being able do resistance training like the leg press? Also riding my road bike? I was actually able to ride my road bike completely pain free for 30mi prior to the denovo surgery (for whatever that is worth) even with the large lesion...

Any help is greatly appreciated
