I had a partial knee replacement put in 8 years ago (Mako, patellofemeral) and it was problem free till I had a recent infection. The implant has been removed and I am searching for the best surgeon in the Philadelphia Pa or NY City area to put a full knee replacement in. I need someone with extensive revision experience as well. I just want the very best surgeon and I don't know how to find this information. Even when I call a facility no one is willing to share info on anything. I wish there were better resources available. Any help or suggestions would be great.

Have you looked at the specialist database on this forum?

Example, This chap comes up as a tkr specialist in PA, Hanover?

Another way is to search for surgeons who’ve published on revision replacements or who consult to the manufacturers of the latest implants like Zimmer for example.
Look for surgeons who do a lot of replacements (probably several hundred a year), who are involved in cutting edge robot assisted surgeries. Also there’ll be a surgical society in the US for knee surgeons etc, look at the lists of those on the committees etc

This gives some info
