Got hit with a puck
« on: December 18, 2015, 07:43:32 AM »
Hey all I am new here and need some advise. About three weeks ago I was playing hockey (I am a goalie) and took a hard shot directly to the top of my knee cap. Since then everything seems good other than I feel a grove/dent exactly where the impact was, I also can feel what seem to be softer bubbles floating around in the same area. Now if I mess with them they itch/hurt at the same time. Other than this issue I have no other pain or swelling any info would be grateful.
Thanks Justin

Have you seen a doctor? You should if there's been no improvement or worsening in 3 weeks. Also are you resting and icing the knee? Taking an anti inflammatory in tablet or topical form? It's likely inflamed soft tissue, but go see a medical professional who can examine your knee properly :)

Oh and leave the area alone, let it heal ;)
