MUA on bilateral patellar tendon rupture
« on: October 30, 2015, 02:13:39 AM »
Had a MUA procedure on 28th Oct 2015 on both my left and right leg. Pre-Op ROM was 85deg on Right Leg and 105deg on Left Leg. Surgeon refused to perform LOA or to cut any scar tissue as he was afraid that more scar tissue would grow.
The surgeon MUA procedure achieved 130 deg ROM on both legs. After the surgery I was placed on a CPM machine on both legs for 40 hours straight and setting were place at the max of 120 deg.
Currently I have lost all strength to my legs and legs feel very tight. I can easily bend to 115 deg yet I feel the scar tissue all broken up in my knee cap. I have began after 40 hours post surgery to do Rehab.
Since no scar tissue was cut out, I can now actually feel broken up tight rubber band adhesion all around in my knee. Will that tissue remain there forever or will it go away.
