Knee pain and weakness feeling
« on: September 17, 2015, 07:02:53 AM »
Hello All, here's a little backstory.  I am 33 yrs old, and had detached my ACL, in my Right knee, on March 21st, 2015.  I had ACL reconstruction, using the Middle 1/3 of my Peteller ligament, from the same knee, on May 4th.  My last check up was August 14th.  The Dr. stated My knee was looking great.  Full extension, and mobility.  He was very pleased. At that time, I still had quite a bit of pain.  As well as, a catching feeling.  He stated he would like to see me use less meds, and the catching was my Peteller ligament catching, not the "new ACL.  There are still mornings, and sometimes evenings, where I need to use my cane.  As the pain is that sever.  This said sever pain, isn't caused by "over doing it" though.  Fast forward to today, I was moving some stuff, and felt instant pain, and feeling of weakness in my knee.  My next appointment with Dr. isn't until October 29th.  This appointment wil consist of x-Rays.  Should I get an earlier appointment?  I'm worried I've re-injured.
